GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

GENERAL INFORMATION

Parents/Guardians are advised, in their interest, to go through the school prospectus issued from time to time. The school expects the students and their parents to be well aware of the rules and instructions given in the prospectus. Part of the information provided in the prospectus is reproduced here for convenience. These are not exhaustive in any way and are only intended to be general guidelines. This School believes that discipline slackness, disobedience and disregard of rules will not be tolerated.

Kindly note the following instructions:
You are requested to read carefully the printed instructions in the diary.
Parents are requested not to enter classrooms to see their children or teacher during class hours without prior permission of the Principal/Head Mistress.
Your ward is required to note down the day-to-day homework throughout the year and written work to be kept with the student carefully.
You are requested to keep a check on his/her work regularly.
You may be called by the Class Teacher or Subject Teachers of your ward to visit the school by a request made in the diary.
You are requested to see to it that your ward adheres to the rules and regulations of the school.
You are requested to see the remarks given in the diary and put your signature.
If you feel that your ward is not making the desired progress, you are requested to personally contact the Class or Subject Teachers by writing a note in your ward's diary.
Make sure that your child must carry his/her school diary every day.
In the event, that a student is required to come late, it is better, for security reasons that a child stays home for the whole day. Please do not withdraw children from the school during school hours, except in case of an emergency
Mobile phones, iPods, cameras, other electronic gadgets etc, brought to school by the students will be confiscated and deposited with the Academic Head. These will be handed over to the concerned parents at the end of the academic session. Sim cards of the confiscated phones may, however, be returned to the parents only by the class teachers on the same/next day.
Parents are required to sign their ward's Progress Report.
Private tuition is not encouraged. Parents must not engage teachers of our school as private tutors for their wards at all.
The name of a student absent without permission for three consecutive days after any vacation is liable to be struck off the rolls.
Students will only be allowed to leave the school with an authentic leave letter from the parent/guardian duly endorsed and sanctioned by the principal.
Leave for half a day should not be asked for security reasons. In an emergency, written permission must be taken from the Principal/Head Mistress at the earliest and the class Teacher in charge must be duly informed.
In case any clarification is required, feel free to contact the school office at any time. We hope that our students will be able to transform themselves from what they are to what they can be in the coming years.
